The state government has changed the schedule of the DSC-2024 examination conducted for the appointment of teachers as per the order of the High Court. Commissioner of School Education S. Suresh Kumar said in a statement on Saturday night. The state government had earlier released a notification for filling up 6,100 assistant professor vacancies. Along with this, the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) notification has also been released. TET conducted the tests. The DSC exams for teacher recruitment are scheduled to start from 15th of this month. However, the High Court has recently issued an order that four weeks should be given for the TET exam and the DSC exam. In this background, Suresh Kumar revealed that a new schedule has been created by making changes in the DSC exam schedule. He said that due to the non-availability of exam centers due to IIT JEE and other entrance exams in April, the schedule has been made to conduct teacher recruitment exams from March 30 to April 30. From March 30 to April 3, the Secondary Grade Teacher exam will be conducted in 10 sessions with two sessions per day.
English Proficiency Test which is a preliminary test for TGT, PGT and Principal posts will be conducted on April 7.
School Assistant, TGT, PGT, Physical Director, Principal exams will be conducted from April 13 to April 30.
From March 20, candidates will be given web options to select centers to write the exam.
Candidates can download their hall-tickets from March 25.
