The following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 309 of the Constitution of India read with sub section (3) and (4) of Section 169, Sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 195 and Section 243 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994) and amendments thereon and third proviso to Section 74 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act 6/1965) and Section 78 and Section 99 of the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 (Act 1 of 1982), read with sub-section (1) of section 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (Central Act No. 35 of 2009), duly Incorporating the norms and conditions of the eligibility criteria provided by NCTE for the post of teachers, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following rules for Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for the posts of School Assistants(SAs) and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) in the schools of Andhra Pradesh.
RULES
1. SHORT TITLE AND APPLICATION:
1) These rules may be called as the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for the posts of School Assistants (SAS) and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTS) Scheme of Selection Rules, 2024.
II) These rules shall apply to all categories of teacher posts in Government, Zilla Praja Parishad, Mandal Praja Parishad, Municipal, Municipal Corporation schools, Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Ashram schools, and to such other categories of teacher posts in such other schools as may be notified by the Government from time to time Issue of these orders.

4. QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

(b) (1) Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education Andhra certificates recognized by Board Government of Andhra Pradesh, equivalent Education
(1) Must possess Academic degrees of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC)
(1) Teacher Education Courses recognized ty National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
(iv) The Applicants who have obtained requisite Degrees through Open Universities Distance Education modn are requined to recognition by the University Grants Commission/AICTE heve Distance Education Buntau as the case may be unless such Degrees have been recognised by the relevant Statutory ry Authority, will not accepted for purpose of Educational Qualification vide its Public Notice No. F.27-1/2012 (CPP-11). Dt. 27/06/2012 (A university established or incorporated by or under a State act shall operate only within the temtorial jurisdiction allotted to it under its Act and in no case beyond the territory of the State of its location) The onus of proef of recognition by relevant Statutory Authonty that their Degrees the Universities have been recognised rests with the candidate.

5. POST WISE QUALIFICATIONS
(as notified in District Selection Committee (05C)-2018)
(1) School Assistants
(A) School Assistant Mathematica)
Must possess a Graduation with Mathematics / Applest Mathematics Statistics Of one of the three equal optional subjects and a na degree with Machermatics as a methodology sunjess
(b) School Assistant (Physical Sciences)
Must possess a Graduation with at least two of the following subjects as optional subjects Physics Applied Physics Engineening Physics instrumentation and Chemistry Applied Chemistry Industrial Chemistry Pharmaceutical Chernutty/ Medicinal Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/mectronicertinorogy o Physica/its aliled subjects or Chemistry/Its allled subjects as one of the main subject and other as subsidiary/encillary subject and B.Ed. degree with Physical Scence /Physics/Chemistry/Science as a methodology subject
OR BCA Candidete with Physics and Chemistry at Intermediate level as group subjects and B.Ed. degree with Physical Science/Physics
